However, as soon as you receive your new Walmart Money Card, you must activate it. Activating a Walmart Money Card has several advantages, such as petrol rebates and cash back on purchases. Additionally, a Walmart Money Card can be used for up to two-day advance payments and direct transfers.
Direct deposit allows you to load government benefits or payroll checks straight onto a MoneyCard. You can choose to deposit all or a portion of your check using this free service.
For a $3 fee, you can load money onto your card at Walmart stores. Using the Walmart MoneyCard app, cash deposits are free at Walmart locations.
There is no reloading cost if you file your income taxes electronically and receive your return directly onto your Walmart MoneyCard.
In addition to physical checks, you can send money orders, set up automatic payments, and transfer money to friends and family.
